ABOUT

Sacred Geometry

Sacred Geometry is the basic fundamental building blocks of our Universe are based on mathematics and form. Sacred Geometry can be found in all of nature in golden mean proportions, Fibonacci spirals, hexagonal structures, pentagonal structures, platonic solid structures, crystal structures, tube torus, etc. Healing can be facilitated and meditation enhanced by using pyramid energy, platonic solids, crystals & stones, shells, art, etc. in sacred geometric forms.

From the farthest reaches of the cosmos to the atomic structure of a single cell within the body, the same laws of form and mathematics apply. The secret to life is in these forms and numbers. So by studying a simple flower, we can learn the basis of all life everywhere.

Please see the YouTube video opposite that explains simply what Sacred Geometry is all about.

Mandalas & Yantras

What is a Mandala?
The meaning of mandala comes from Sanskrit meaning “circle.” Even though it may be dominated by squares or triangles, a mandala has a concentric structure. Mandalas offer balancing visual elements, symbolising unity and harmony. The meanings of individual mandalas is usually different and unique to each mandala. The goal of the mandala is to serve as a tool on our spiritual journey as it symbolises cosmic and psychic order.
What is a Yantra?
Yantra is a pattern used in Hinduism for worship. Yantra means originally the mechanical, mnemonic and musical contraption in the macrocosm. It was a graphic symbol of the contemplative meditation of Hindu tradition which was intended to be unified with the mother goddess or Durga (not understanding). “Yang” means Anahata, so it is able to consider as the contemplative meditation relating to Anahata chakra.
What is the difference between a Mandala and a Yantra?

  • A Yantra is drawn within the square, while the mandala is within the circle.
  • A Yantra has a specified pattern which cannot be changed, as it represents the diagrammatic energy form of the Deity.
  • Yantra is a key to open up particular parts of the mind to extend our Conciousness.
  • To make us aware of our own godliness…to make us aware of “I am That”.
  • Where as the creation of a “Mandala” is open to the artists inspiration and creativity.

Crystals, Gemstones & Healing Stones

Healing stones, crystals and semi-precious gemstones come from one unified source – Mother Earth. Created from the magma or Earth’s inner core, healing stones have gone through a geologic process of heating, cooling and displacement on their way to their present form.

The energy field of different gemstones is influenced by geometrical form, colour and subtle vibration. Each stone is made up of minute crystals which are in constant motion thus emitting an energy signature or frequency. The gemstone’s colour also plays a dynamic role in the stone’s healing energy. The play of light and colour can stimulate or calm; purify or heal.

A magical and symbiotic connection has always existed between human beings and gems. Evidence of gemstones used for healing has been found as far back as the fourth millennium before Christ. Ancient civilizations such as the Chinese, Egyptians, Sumerians, Greeks, Romans, or Shamans and Medicine Men have used gemstones for healing in multiple ways – made into powders or elixirs, worn, carried or placed on the body and in ceremonies or rituals. This ancient knowledge has been passed down to our day and with the emerging popularity of holistic health and healing the use of gemstones is again making its way into modern life.

Chakras

The Sanskrit word Chakra literally translates to wheel or disk. In yoga, meditation, and Ayurveda, this term refers to wheels of energy throughout the body. There are seven main chakras, which align the spine, starting from the base of the spine through to the crown of the head. To visualise a chakra in the body, imagine a swirling wheel of energy where matter and consciousness meet. This invisible energy, called Prana, is vital life force, which keeps us vibrant, healthy, and alive.

These swirling wheels of energy correspond to massive nerve centers in the body. Each of the seven main chakras contains bundles of nerves and major organs as well as our psychological, emotional, and spiritual states of being. Since everything is moving, it’s essential that our seven main chakras stay open, aligned, and fluid. If there is a blockage, energy cannot flow. Think of something as simple as your bathtub drain. If you allow too much hair to go into the drain, the bathtub will back up with water, stagnate and eventually bacteria and mold will grow. So is too with our bodies and the chakras. A bathtub is simple; it’s physical so the fix is easy.
